Greetings, This week, we started rolling out MSN 9.6 to a subset of MSN Premium and Dial-up customers in the United States. Customers who live outside the United States or have their MSN subscription through Qwest, Verizon or Bell Canada will be upgraded later this summer.
What has changed: Email storage space has been increased to 10GB for the primary account and 5GB for secondary accounts.
MSN 9.6 uses a new protocol (DeltaSync) to exchange email with Hotmail. This change is entirely behind the scenes so the look and feel of MSN Mail will stay the same. The very first time you open your mail in MSN 9.6, it may take a little longer than normal to display your messages. After this initial session, your email experience should be the same as it was before.
